Playground Review

Woodbridge Riverside Park – Ray Marshall Park

The riverside area in WA has been a favourite spot with locals for many years and is now complemented with playground equipment and picnic facilities.

The John George walk trail alongside the Swan River and a separate cycle path, links this park with Reg Bond Reserve. These two areas combine to form the Swan Regional Riverside Park.

There are things to climb on, touch, swing on, crawl through and fly with. There are pirate ships, spots for sand play and water play. And there’s equipment that caters for kids in wheelchairs and with other special needs.

There are sheltered picnic spots and lots of bench seats. Most things are wood or metal and there’s a very natural feel about the design.

Tables, shade and children’s playground make this an attractive picnic area on the Swan River.
A perfect spot to launch a kayak or canoe for a paddle on the river.
